The United States Auto Club (USAC) has sanctioned a wide variety of racing events since 1956; including 40 Indianapolis 500s. USAC is a permanent member of ACCUS, the ASN for the US and the representative for CIK/FIA  in the US. 

 

However, 2017 was the first year USAC has promoted karting events ~so we figured we'd start with two huge and historical events in the history of karting: a race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the revival of the street race in Elkhart, IN. The inaugural Battle at the Brickyard Karting Classic was held on the interior road course of the famed 2.5mile oval at IMS July 7-9 with over 300 entries. In August, over 140 karts raced under the USAC banner on the streets of the City of Elkhart in for the Thor Industries Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix Presented by Genesis Products. Like the days of the Elkhart Grand Prix in the 1980's and 90's, thousands of race fans lined the track to see karts racing at close to 100mph and great concerts all weekend!
